This policy explains what Buffalo's Best Bakery ("we", "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Buffalo's Best Bakery is part of the Buffalo's Best Grill family with Buffalo's Best Grill, our catering, and BBG2GO; we share one office and one team to answer you.
What we collect
What you tell us
- Catering, party and cake inquiries: your name, phone, email, company, the date, time and size of your event, the occasion, the service you want, the address for a delivery or staffed event, your budget, your message, and how you heard about us.
- Job applications: your name, phone, email, experience, the jobs you're applying for, your cover letter, and a resume if you attach one.
- Newsletter and text sign-ups: your email, and your phone number if you give it for texts, with your consent to receive them.
- Emails and calls: whatever you send us.
What is collected automatically
- Google Analytics counts visits to this site with cookies: the pages you view, roughly where you are, and the kind of device and browser you use. It doesn't tell us who you are.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and keeps short-lived logs of requests (such as your IP address) for security. Its Turnstile check on our forms looks at your browser to tell people from spam bots.
- Our menus and specials load from Tapline, which runs our menu boards; it doesn't set cookies or track you.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry, plan and quote your event, and confirm it by phone or email.
- To consider your job application and contact you about it.
- To send our newsletter, and texts if you agreed to them.
- To keep the site working, secure and free of spam, and to see which pages help people.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with the companies that run our systems for us, and only for that: Cloudflare (website hosting, security and file storage), DigitalOcean (our office system's servers), Resend (sending our emails), Microsoft (our email), and Google (analytics). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Text messaging: no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your text-messaging opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and bookings as business records, applications for as long as we may hire for the role, and sign-ups until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or email us.
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. See our SMS terms.
- Your information: email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
- Analytics: you can block cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out add-on.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
